Responsibilities & Requirements
The Director of Marketing Strategy is a strategic partner to the Chief Marketing Officer and will help plan and focus marketing plans and initiatives by performing various duties based on the shifting and growing needs of the organization. They will engage with internal cross-functional partners to ensure business objectives are translated into actionable and impactful strategies with clear measurements of success and high-quality standards for execution.
Responsibilities
- Identify and tackle strategic projects from defining new opportunities to executing key initiatives
- Understand Bonterra's company strategy, how it translates to the Revenue Organization, and use those insights to direct the priorities of the Marketing leadership team
- Connect the dots across the CMO organization, ensure teams are aligned and focused and the CMO's time is optimally used (e.g. pre-reviews with teams, cascading info and context, streamlining efforts, etc.)
- Have a strong pulse and feedback loop on organizational needs
- Help drive smooth and flawless execution of strategic initiatives across cross-functional teams
- Collaborate directly with business leadership around strategic priorities
- Coordinate and execute special projects for Chief Marketing Officer
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- 4-8 years in Marketing field (Marketing Consulting ideal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - both independently and in a team setting - with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to prioritize effectively
- Has excellent attention to detail, with the ability to read through emails and documents and fully take in all information and break it down into tasks.
- Has worked in project management tools.
- Is a self-starter and motivated
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Proven experience in managing processes and projects
