Due to massive growth and market success, SmartBear is continuing to hire employees rapidly to scale our company globally. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to help drive our global digital marketing efforts.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate cross-functionally to support digital marketing efforts with tracking, reporting and analysis. As part of the Digital Marketing team reporting to the Sr. Director of Digital Marketing, you will help Demand Generation and Sales teams in driving high quality leads and achieving our quarterly and annual business targets. You will also work across the broader marketing team to standardize tracking best practices, provide ad-hoc website reporting and QA website user flows. The ideal candidate is data-driven marketer, collaborative, curious by nature, analytical and detail-oriented. A learning mindset combined with the desire to stay on top of industry best practices and trends will help the individual to drive demand generation and impact the SmartBear brand and business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support digital marketing efforts with vendor tagging, tracking and reporting
- Standardize website analytics tracking across properties
- Provide ad-hoc analysis of website behaviors and prospect journeys
- Develop and maintain regular documentation on custom website tracking, user flows
- QA production a/b tests, landing pages and website changes
- Assist strategic cross-functional projects such as rebrands, website architecture changes, etc.
- Develop and maintain regular documentation on custom website tracking, user flows
- Perform industry / competitor website analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, web analytics or web development
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and UTM parameters
- Experience with website tagging tools such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium or Ensighten
- Experience using HTML and JavaScript.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve website behaviors or tracking with console / developer tools.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills
- High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
- Passionate about learning new tools and keeping up with industry research
- Familiarity with SEO and SEM a plus!
