We are looking for an exceptional and ambitious marketer to join Tripadvisor’s consumer product marketing team within the Core Experience business unit. The Consumer Product Marketing Manager, CRM will be responsible for translating Tripadvisor’s global brand strategy into traveler-centric communications across our CRM channels (email, push) in order to drive increased loyalty and engagement.

Reporting to the Director of Consumer Activation, the successful candidate will own the member marketing strategy within Tripadvisor owned channels for email and push notifications. You will work directly with the CRM team on concept and brainstorming for all email programs, including getting A/B tests live and overseeing messaging and creative. You are the lead on all things email and push! 

This position calls for a highly collaborative, creative, organized, and innovative marketer who can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a proactive and positive attitude. The ideal candidate is someone who is customer-obsessed and understands how to develop and coordinate marketing strategies that truly move user behavior.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead and manage email and push communications strategy for 300+ M members around the globe as a consumer marketing partner to the CRM team 
  • Identify strategies to leverage behavioral and mindset audience segments in order to convert visitors into valuable, loyal Tripadvisor members
  • Collaborate with CRM, product, brand, design / copy creative teams, research, analytics and other teams across Tripadvisor as needed 
  • Oversee how product and feature education fits within the Tripadvisor member journey, and is able to champion how adoption and engagement with key products will drive value for the traveler and Tripadvisor
  • Ideate strategy and creative for new revenue-driving CRM activities, such as sponsored content and affiliate
  • Be an internal champion of creative excellence and on-brand communications, and is rigorous about thinking traveler-first
  • Seek out and bring innovative outside industry best practices to existing programs
  • Partner with product marketing, brand and research to translate the consumer-facing value proposition and key benefits for new Tripadvisor products and features into traveler-centric communications in CRM 
  • Work with User Research Team to develop actionable, data-driven insights to inform member marketing and messaging roadmap
  • Own and be a champion of messaging guidelines to activate Tripadvisor members
  • Work closely with the creative teams to develop and execute targeted campaign deliverables, and with the Brand team to ensure all creative assets and campaigns support the Tripadvisor brand strategy
  • Align with CRM managers and analytics to develop and measure consumer growth KPIs and define campaign success 

What We Seek: 

  • 4+ years of marketing experience, ideally in a B2C environment
  • 2+ CRM (email, push, SMS) experience 
  • Experience with AB testing a must
  • You’re a creative, excellence driven marketer with experience working with creative teams (design and copy) on brand strategy 
  • You have experience influencing cross-functional teams to bring the brand and customer journey to life! 
  • You’ve successfully built marketing programs to target specific custom segments 
  • You’re skilled at developing insights-driven hypotheses to help understand how we can drive deeper engagement with Tripadvisor among our visitors and members
