Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the community leader will focus on building and driving our Green Circle customer community to the next stage of maturity. This will be engaging users and community members on and off of our Green Circle Community site. You will support community stakeholders, including customers, prospects, marketing, customer service, education. Goals include: attracting site traffic and members/followers, driving new sales leads, empowering sales with relevant content to send prospects, ensuring customer questions are answered rapidly and well, and fueling PR and influencer relations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with communities and prospects around our brand, our product and issues of current technical interest, participating and collaborating with our social media resources
  • Establish and build visibility and credibility as the community voice of Turbonomic through consistent and high quality participation across community and social channels.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to connect with new people, to connect Turbonomic experts with issues and people in the Community and to connect community members to each other
  • Analyze to understand what drives engagement, traffic and community growth & own strategy and execution for evolving our Community site to best meet engagement and overall goals
  • Build strong relationships across marketing, sales, education, technical and support teams to quickly understand our product and create a network for community engagement
  • Participate with planning and coordination of Turbonomic User Group (TUG) events from community side
  • Serve as an evangelist for our message, brand, and technical content in concert with our marketing and technical teams
  • Ensure all community stakeholders’ needs are met.
  • Keep the team up-to-date with the latest trends across our product and customer technical environments.
  • Manage content creation and posting to the community
  • Drive online social media engagement campaigns in conjunction with Green Circle and Turbonomic User Group (TUG) content and events
  • Coordinate technical site updates and customizations for the community web site; make basic changes and pull in development resources as needed

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience.
  • A passion for and demonstrated aptitude in building relationships and engaging technical professionals in verbal and on-line discussion and connecting people.
  • B2B community management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Driven by creative intuition but able to gut check and course-correct with data, as well as report results and optimize using data.
  • Proven background in community relations and influencer programs
  • Exposure with Jive Cloud platform a plus
  • Ability to self-serve in Jive platform to design and launch pages a plus
