Skyword is seeking an energetic, experienced self-starter to head Skyword’s lead generation efforts. Skyword is seeking an exceptional marketer and innovative content creator to develop compelling campaigns with the goal to cultivate interest in Skyword - the leading content marketing software and services company. The Demand Generation Manager will work with the Director of Marketing Operations to ­­­drive our lead generation programs and work to expand Skyword’s brand awareness. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative campaigns and identify opportunities to not only acquire new leads but also nurture existing leads with personalized, relevant messaging
  • Own the lead management process from lead capture to follow-up and work collaboratively with the sales team to obtain feedback on quality of MQIs and MQLs generated from marketing campaigns
  • Provide and implement recommendations to improve efficacy of marketing campaigns
  • Provide regular database health checks, cleansing, and augmentation to improve the accuracy of data in Salesforce
  • Use marketing automation to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Manage list segmentation and scoring to deliver more targeted messaging to improve engagement and ultimately conversion of prospects
  • Partner closely with product marketing, graphic designers, freelance creatives, and the sales team to ensure proper messaging, engaging visuals, timing, and execution of one-off and ongoing campaigns 
  • Monitor the inflow of leads and review the quality, data, and progression

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience; experience implementing lead generation programs and processes
  • Comfortable working in tech platforms; experience working with Salesforce and Marketo, or another marketing automation platform, is preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Active on social media
  • Position is based in Boston; occasional travel required
  • Solid references
