Acquisition Marketing Specialist
Lose It! is looking for a results-driven quantitative marketer who has experience managing and analyzing paid acquisition campaigns to operate our paid media budget. This person will be responsible for evolving our digital acquisition strategy to drive growth and efficiencies across our paid channels. We're looking for a self-starter who is extremely organized and can thrive with ambiguity and conflicting priorities. An ideal candidate can excel in both the analytical and creative sides of marketing, and can communicate channel performance effectively. This role will primarily focus on our core channels (AdWords and ASA) and dedicate a small portion of time and resources to experiment with new channels and campaigns. This position will work closely with the marketing, data science, operations and finance teams to understand the implications of each element of our paid strategy and will report to the VP of Marketing.
Core Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-million dollar budget to performance targets
  • Regularly analyze and report on campaign performance
  • Utilize experimental budget to design tests for new channels and campaigns
  • Collaborate with designers to develop creatives that speak to our audiences and encourage them to try Lose It!
  • Write ad copy that engages prospective users and encourages them to download
  • Be the expert on the user journey from impression through install; understand the mechanics of each event and how our attribution data is compiled
  • Utilize best practices and competitive intelligence to maintain the company's presence on the App and Play Store
  • Manage relationships with our Attribution Provider (Singular) and Key Channel Partners
  • Stay up to date with the latest ad trends and become the expert at the company for paid acquisition, app store optimization and keyword optimization


What do we look for in a team member?

  • Someone who has 2-5 years of experience in quantitative marketing or analytics with experience working with Apple Search Ads, Google AdWords or other paid channel
  • Someone who has a demonstrated proficiency in Excel, basic statistics and experimental design
  • Someone who enjoys working with a small team where the opportunity to make an impact is high
  • A person who works well through changes and enjoys learning new ways to add value to the business
  • A person who embodies an entrepreneurial mindset and gets excited about being scrappy to spin up experiments and test ideas and channels
  • A teammate who contributes a positive attitude and shows the ability to resolve issues with best practices, processes and strategies
  • Someone who embodies the Lose It! Values of being Purpose Driven, Humble, Inclusive, Transparent, An Owner, and Results Oriented
  • Experience working with consumer-facing products or apps is a plus
  • Experience with SQL is a plus

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 our employees have been working remotely from their homes and some office related benefits are currently not active and/or have shifted while employees are working remotely including the addition of a one time home office stipend to reimburse employees for equipment costs. While we would love to be back in the office soon, employee health is a priority for us. All employees will have the option to work remotely minimally through September 2021 and we will adjust that date if needed.
