Position Overview:  

The Contracts Administrator will assist with the processing and administration of a substantial volume of data and contractual items in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with company policies and processes.

This is your chance to make history with us.  We are searching for a Contracts Administrator join a fast-paced, rapidly expanding team that is searching for talent across the lifecycle of vehicle development to support both new and ongoing cutting-edge research, development, and prototyping programs. 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Energetically assist Aurora’s various Program Teams in proposal preparations, negotiations, and administration of prime contracts.
  • Effectively support tasks related to subcontract review and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with business development, technical staff, and finance in responding to customer solicitations.
  • Provide contract administration support to assigned programs in areas such as: Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Intercompany Work Authorizations (IWAs), Government Furnished Property (GFP), and monitoring the status of contract deliverables and funding.
  • Maintain business systems, databases, and templates to ensure information is compliant with contract requirements and company policy;
  • Track AMA Contracts open action items.
  • Develop strong cross-functional working relationships throughout the Aurora and Boeing internal business units, as well as with external customers
  • Develop an understanding of Aurora/Boeing processes and procedures related to working with the U.S. Government (USG), commercial organizations, and University partners.
  • Assist with Contracts close out activities.

Minimum Requirements 

  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (at minimum)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and two (2) years of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage projects with a sense of urgency and multi-task with efficiency
  • Ability to utilize qualitative and quantitative critical thinking skills to make independent decisions. Communicate with all levels of internal personnel and a diverse set of external customers both in writing and orally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently possessing a Clearance
  • A strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), U.S. Code (USC) and other procurement related regulations
  • Demonstrated success working with prime contractors and subcontractors including developing, negotiating, and administering contracts and purchase orders in the aerospace industry

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to support occasional travel
