We’re looking for an intellectually curious and driven technical writing student to create and maintain regulated technical content within our Madcap Flare project.

We’re looking for intellectually curious and driven technical writing student to create and maintain regulated technical content within our Madcap Flare project. We believe in using the best tool for the job. While we’re always looking to improve, in this role, those tools currently include:   

  • Madcap Flare
  • Confluence
  • GitLab
  • Google Suite
  • Microsoft Office

If you’re the right candidate, you’ll be exercising all the skills you have and building new ones along the way:

  • Assist with software release notes for various projects
  • Work with the team Technical Writing Team to determine best practices for translation management of Madcap Flare content
  • Contribute to the Technical Writing Team content repository following internal processes and also make suggestions for improvements
  • Develop technical content within a regulated environment
  • Contribute to the department style guide to ensure consistency and accuracy of content
  • Collaborate with various cross functional teams
  • Learn and share knowledge with others along the way

What you’ll need: 

  • Work ethic. You’ve had at least one previous employer, whether it’s a previous internship in this field, volunteer work, or a summer gig waiting tables.
  • Education. We prefer co-op students pursuing their Bachelor’s or Master’s in Technical Writing or related field, with at least 50% of their degree program completed
  • An insatiable intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly in a complex space
