Rue Gilt Groupe is looking for bright, creative, and passionate students to join our Summer Internship program. This is an exciting opportunity to gain great professional experience, apply your relevant academics and grow professionally. And you can do it at a highly-recognized eCommerce leader in the heart of Boston’s Fort Point District.
The 2019 Summer Internship program is a 10 week unpaid internship. The program is a full time summer commitment of 40 hours per week, open to rising college sophomores, juniors and seniors. You will work closely with talented Rue associates in our vibrant culture and will receive strong mentoring to accelerate your learning.

The Merchandising Team at Rue Gilt Groupe consists of Buyers and Assistant Buyers who partner with over 1000 sought-after brands. Each team covers a specific area of the business including Men’s, Women’s, Living, Little Rue, Jewelry, ELF, and Footwear, Accessories & Beauty.
Purpose & Responsibilities:
The Merchandising Intern will support RGG's Jewelry & Watches team in day to day functions which would include (but not limited to):
- Creating purchase order templates from brand line sheets
- Creating buy sheets
- Shipment and sample tracking
- Event check-offs
- Conduct trend analysis & reports through competitive shopping, boutique editing & reviewing pre-launch, and general sales tracking.
- Merchandising Intern will gain visibility to buyer’s day-to-day processes through shadowing, attend production & creative meetings, and support buying team.
- Strong analytical skills and interest in fashion merchandising.
- Experience using Excel
