Tamr seeks a marketing major near to Boston/Cambridge who’s able to commit to a part-time or ideally, full-time fall schedule. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to experience several key aspects of B2B marketing (e.g., content marketing, product marketing, demand generation, and events) while working at one of the hottest startups in Cambridge. The Tamr Marketing Intern works with a dynamic, world-class team – all while having fun and gaining a ton of career equity!

A sample of responsibilities for this role:

  • Manage content production and publishing in HubSpot
  • Create and publish promotional elements for content: social
  • Oversee our process for guest blogging and internal stakeholder contributions by coordinating outreach, managing deadlines and publishing
  • Research and write content for our blog
  • Research possible event venues and promotional materials and gathering pricing
  • Update internal calendars and spreadsheets with event information
  • Support social media around events
  • Post-event data entry
  • Help with logistics and operations at events
  • Help manage marketing budget monthly reconciliation process
  • Support Manager of Growth in program delivery and optimization
  • Support Product Marketing around product releases and enablement efforts

The ideal candidate for the marketing internship is:

  • An adaptive learner who thrives most when they are learning new things in a fast-paced environment
  • A super smart team player who loves making great work happen
  • A person who is savvy on social media and stays up with the latest trends
  • A creative yet data-driven thinker who understands the impact of content marketing
  • A desire to master the ways of demand generation, tracking and analyzing marketing efforts
  • Someone who gets excited about researching topics and data to identify patterns and trends that they can turn into something actionable either, for example, for a piece of content they will write or for another department to benefit from
  • Interest in writing (specifically blogging) strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Working towards a college degree (ideally junior level and up), preferably in a related field (e.g., English, Marketing/Communications, Advertising or Public Relations)
  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications a plus
  • Understanding of the basic principles of digital marketing
