iOS Engineer II (Internationalization)

The Internationalization team is focused on bringing the power of WHOOP to new markets. Faced with the challenges of complex design and language translation, the team aims to arm WHOOP with a best in class product experience that reaches people of all cultures across the world. Through the power of our language and translation we can provide industry leading insights into their health and wellness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with product teams to develop tooling to hurdle over complex design challenges
- Integrate our iOS application with new translation tooling accelerating the process of taking features to new markets
- Bring about best practices for other iOS engineers on internationalization when developing components that will be experienced world wide.
- Ensure a first class product experience for our customers no matter their language of preference
QUALIFICATIONS
- You are experienced with Swift and Objective C
- You are experienced with UI design and development within iOS
- You are experienced with communicating with RESTful backend APIs
- You have some familiarity with SQLite and Core data
- You have some experience with translation within the iOS ecosystem
- You are comfortable iterating quickly and presenting your work
- You are experienced collaborating with product and design teams
- You have a high degree of ownership for the features you build and ship to customers
