Job Description – Co-op Student for SRA (Credit and Capital Markets) 

The SRA team in the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston is currently looking to hire a 2021 intern for their credit and capital markets research team. Ideally, the candidate would be a business, finance or economics major, at the Master’s degree level, and have a keen interest in the financial and credit markets. 
The intern position will provide research and data support to the team, with a particular focus on research projects related to the non-financial corporate sector and commercial real estate.

Data work would include downloading data sets, creating and analyzing time series data, making charts and tables as well as coordinating with the other team analysts/research assistants to support the team’s research projects. Experience with R or Python would be a bonus. 

Other job responsibilities would include conducting independent research that will support the overall research agenda, reviewing academic and other types of literature as well as some written work. We are looking for individuals with intellectual horsepower and a keen attention to detail. In this role, the individual will have the exciting opportunity to be directly involved in high priority Federal Reserve System research projects as well as research directly supporting FRBB Executive Management. 

**This is a 6 months co-op and we are looking for someone who can start ASAP.
