INBOUND Promotions Marketing Manager
We’re looking for a marketer to join the INBOUND team to help us continue growing the annual event (it’s grown from 2,100 people in 2012 to 21,000 in 2017!) and to help us grow the INBOUND brand through our INBOUND Studio series, which has featured guests like Trevor Noah, Issa Rae, and Jeffrey Tambor. This is a highly visible position for someone who loves working across multiple channels and having a huge impact.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is excited by big goals and growth
- Can think like an ecommerce marketer to sell event tickets
- Understands social promotion and is excited to experiment with the latest trends
An ideal candidate is:
- A strong copywriter who can capture INBOUND’s brand voice and put their own spin on it (it doesn’t hurt if they have some design chops too)
- Well-versed in email marketing (experience with ecomm or B2C brands is a bonus) and familiar with how to test and optimize campaigns
- Enthusiastic about growing audiences on social media and getting organic engagement
- Experienced at running and optimizing paid ads on Facebook and other ad networks
Responsibilities will include:
- Executing ticket sales campaigns and nurturing programs across email, social media, and other channels
- Promoting live and prerecorded content from The INBOUND Studio and building our community year-round on social media
- Reporting on ticket sales and revenue
- Manage registration codes and allocations for internal teams
