THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly organized People Operations Generalist, who has great attention for details, to join our fast paced People Ops Team. You’ll be upholding a strategic human resource function in our Boston office by supporting, implementing solutions, and championing our culture and values for our US employees and managers.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Liaise regularly with managers, employees, and People Operations to develop strong and productive working relationships
- Become known as the “go to” person for all areas of HR (Benefits, Retirement, Policies, etc.)
- Enhance employee experience by evaluating and responding to weekly company feedback
- Drive all areas of benefit administration; open enrollment, COBRA, Disability, etc.
- Enforce and educate employees on Hopper Policies; FMLA, Parental Leave, etc.
- Maintain the compliance of state and federal laws in conjunction with Legal & Compliance Team.
- Support all immigration-related employee cases
- Implement solutions that support and drive forward HR initiatives
- Participate in special HR projects, reports, and events as required
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS
- 3+ years experience working in human resources and benefits administration
- Solid knowledge of Massachusetts and USA labor laws
- Sensational communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively, build rapport and be approachable at all levels within the organization.
- Exercises discretion and sound judgement with the ability to reliably and professionally handle sensitive information
- Phenomenal organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty, ambiguity, and quickly evolving goals while maintaining a high bar of excellence
- Loves working in a super collaborative, high-tech, fast-paced environment.
- Is passionate and curious about the travel industry and of course Hopper!
- Familiar with BambooHR (HRIS)
- Experience with eNPS/Employment Engagement
- SHRM Certified
