In this role, you will act as the subject matter expert in compensation and partner with HRBP’s, managers, and leaders to consult on compensation practices. 

As a core member of the People Operations (HR) team, you will cover a wide range of activities under the direction of the CHRO. As a team, we will focus on enhancing the new hire and employee experience. You will play a critical role in developing, implementing and managing Global Compensation Programs. You will need to be proactive, detail oriented, and enthusiastic about supporting employees.

In this role you will:

  • Implement and maintain compensation programs to ensure equitable and competitive employee compensation
  • Work with members of the Leadership Team to uphold a compensation philosophy that aligns with business strategy 
  • Assess compensation tools and provide recommendations based on the right fit for where the company is in its lifecycle 
  • Collect and analyze information on the company's competitive position to the external market
  • Build a compensation structure and recommend a strategy to address corrective actions
  • Establish compensation package (cash & equity) bands for new roles and review proposed salary changes for conformance to established guidelines, policy and practices
  • Maintain a focus on employee education by creating compensation resources and hosting internal trainings
  • Create data dashboards and reports for the Leadership Team and HRBP’s
  • Create slides on compensation programs and structure for the Leadership Team and Board of Directors
  • Gather data and prepare recommendations for special studies on compensation related topics, requiring job analysis, job evaluations, quantitative analysis and similar techniques
  • Partner with People Operations & Talent Acquisition team members to evaluate job descriptions and FLSA classification
  • Work with a cross-functional team to design and manage the Company’s reward programs (merit, bonus, promotion)
  • Manage the HRIS (Namely), including user access and data accuracy

What we look for:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years experience in HR/Compensation, including work with job descriptions and analysis of survey data
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in Executive Compensation
  • Strong proficiency in Excel required 
  • Experience developing and executing comprehensive compensation programs
  • Drives consensus through the appropriate use of data
  • Able to adapt to unique, in-the-moment challenges in a calm and professional manner
