As our Senior Business Recruiter, and a key member of the Talent team at ezCater, you will focus on creating mutually beneficial recruiting processes for our hiring managers and candidates alike. Your core focus will be growing our Sales, Marketing, Finance, G&A, and some other Business teams. You'll assist in developing initiatives critical to our success, increasing the visibility of the ezCater talent brand and reputation as a world-class employer. You are constantly improving your skill set and always pushing to find ways to enhance ezCater’s approach to recruiting.
You will:
- Support Marketing, Sales and Finance/G&A recruiting. Improve processes, increase efficiency and foster our culture as we scale.
- Support the development of Business Recruiting team members, while serving as a key resource in their day-today.
- Contribute to the evolution and growth of our talent brand by thinking like a marketer.
- Help develop the Business Recruiting team by leading by example and assisting with tactical needs.
- Be a cultural ambassador for our Marketing, Sales, and Finance/G&A teams. Coordinate and attend events, build relationships and engage with the tech community via blogs, meet-ups, open houses and more.
- Be the first step in our process. You are capable of screening candidates for necessary hard and soft skills as well as cultural fit. You will leave all candidates with the best possible impression of ezCater. You speak the language.
- Identify, engage and hire the top talent in Boston.
You have:
- 5+ years recruiting experience. You’re a boutique agency recruiter or an in-house recruiter at a fast-growing company, and you are looking for your next challenge. Ideally, you have experience in both agency and in-house environments.
- More than just recruiting skills. You think outside the box. You are creative and innovative in driving inbound candidates.
- A strong understanding of general business, sales, and marketing concepts. You can read a resume and a LinkedIn profile page to find talent with the right skill sets.
- Great communication skills. Conversations come easy to you and you find yourself generally excited and interested in speaking with a wide range of people.
- The ability to turn cold outreach into warm leads through research, approach and follow through.
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills. You understand that the biggest enemy to process is time lost, and have shown the ability to move quickly and juggle multiple processes at once.
- A strong network of Talent that trust you.
- A strong understanding of the Boston startup ecosystem.
- A passion for building diverse teams.
This is a critical hire. You will help build ezCater’s talent department and help us define our approach and presence. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the role of recruiting plays in fast-growing companies.
