Recruiting Coordinator

The role of the Recruiting Coordinator is a key part of the People team, partnering with department leaders and hiring managers to deliver on the organizational elements of Indigo’s goal of finding and attracting A players. This role will be based in Boston and will require exceptional people skills, contagious enthusiasm for Indigo’s mission, a proven ability to execute, outstanding organizational skills, and flexibility and efficiency to work in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Responsibilities:

Supports hiring managers and recruiters with all scheduling needs

  • Seamlessly schedules scorecard session, pre-meetings, debrief meetings, and interview schedules within 48 hours of request and communicates to all relevant stakeholders
  • Demonstrates expertise with our Applicant Tracking System
  • Has strong understanding of who to ask and how to resolve scheduling conflicts/difficulties with proactive recommendations
  • Become an expert on navigating within the organization and working cross functionally with different site locations
  • Has strong understanding of scorecard sessions and can provide leverage to recruiters to write scorecards, when needed
  • Collaborates with all Administrative Assistants to ensure a smooth process for all involved stakeholders

Understands and becomes an expert on Indigo’s recruiting process

  • Be able to understand all stages of and reasoning behind ghSMART hiring method
  • Learns who owns each step of the hiring process
  • Contribute to new ideas for improving the recruiting process

Communicates with candidates in a professional and timely manner, acting as the “face of Indigo” throughout the candidate’s experience

  • Emails with candidates to coordinate all interview logistics with little to no mistakes
  • Responds to candidate emails within 24 hours of receipt
  • Greets candidates for on-site interviews and manages all logistical aspects of the interview day (dialing video calls, ordering lunch, etc.), ensuring that candidates have a great experience interviewing with Indigo, measured by candidate experience feedback surveys
  • Represents Indigo’s core values and a strong sense of enthusiasm and positivity in all candidate interactions

Demonstrates flexibility, providing additional leverage to recruiting team as needed

  • Sources candidates when needed
  • Writes scorecards and job descriptions as needed
  • Posts new jobs on Indigo’s career website and outside job boards
  • Assists with event planning and other ad-hoc projects

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ year(s) relevant work experience required
  • Proven success in fast-paced support or administrative capacity
  • Outlook experience, preferred
  • Calendar management experience strongly preferred
  • Recruiting experience or understanding preferred

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
