Recruiting Coordinator
Position Summary:At athenahealth we are unleashing our collective potential as a company to transform a broken healthcare system. Recruiting Coordinators are our key partners in making this work, and we’re searching for talented people to join the team.
Your role as a Recruiting Coordinator is to support the fast-moving, high-performing Talent Acquisition team and their mandate. Additionally, you will be expected to partner effectively with other internal colleagues and stakeholders across the company, while also providing an exceptional candidate experience to those who come through the athenahealth hiring process.
Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):
_75% [Primary Function]
- Drive all scheduling and coordination of candidate interviews (onsite, video, telephone).
- Facilitate onsite interview logistics to ensure outstanding candidate experience, including travel arrangements as needed.
- Provide customer service support to candidates on inquiries associated with their interview process and candidacy.
_15%
- Participate in a variety of continuous improvement and operational initiatives in service of athenahealth’s overall recruiting efforts.
- Handle various other administrative aspects of athenahealth’s hiring process.
_10%
- Partner with recruiters to advertise and promote athenahealth career opportunities on a range of job boards and social media channels.
- Manage logistical support for onsite and offsite recruiting events, along with occasional special events and independent projects.
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 1 year of professional work experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with high-volume coordination, scheduling, or administrative work.
- Experience working in Recruiting or Human Resources a plus, but not required.
Knowledge & Skills:
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook. Strong Excel skills desired.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving orientation.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
- Impeccable judgment and discretion with respect to confidential information.
