As the People Analytics Specialist, you’ll play a key role in creating frameworks that support an engaging employee experience and enable the business to achieve results. As the administrator for our People Operations, you’ll own our systems, including our Applicant Tracking System, Human Resource Information System, and more; you will create and maintain the platforms that support the hiring and employee data needs of the business. You will partner with the other members of the People team to implement and administer People programs, policies, and practices, and ensure that employees and managers have the proper tools needed to use our processes, systems, and platforms effectively.

This position reports to the Director of People & Culture. If you’ve been in roles such as People Analyst or Analytics, People Operations, People Systems, HR Analyst or Analytics, HR Operations, HR Systems, or similar roles - we’d love to talk with you!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the HR Information Systems (HRIS) and evaluate HRIS software needs; design new or modify existing HRIS approaches to meet changing demands; provide job aids and train employees on new features as they are released
  • Administer, maintain, and improve the use of People team platforms and systems, including Applicant Tracking System, Employee Engagement, and others; partner with stakeholders to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Oversee the daily operation of the People team platforms and systems: administer, maintain, and improve the use of the HR Information System (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System, Employee Engagement, and others; evaluate, design new, and/or modify existing systems/platforms to meet evolving demands; partner with stakeholders to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of systems/platforms
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and report technical issues for systems and platforms
  • Research vendors and implement new integrations and features as needed
  • Assist in development, communication, and implementation of People policies and guidelines; provide feedback on policies and programs to functional area specialists and management
  • Provide information, guidance, and direction on People processes, procedures, and programs to employees and managers; provide proper tools for employees on systems and processes as needed
  • Implement, monitor, and iterate on processes to optimize and scale the evolving workforce and culture
  • Organize and support company-wide processes such as performance reviews, talent review, engagement surveys, etc
  • Partner with Finance and Payroll to coordinate payroll changes and updates
  • Process employee data changes and updates (i.e., leaves, title changes, reporting structure, wages, etc.); regularly audit data to ensure accuracy
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting
  • Use metrics (i.e., employee turnover rates, engagement scores, performance ratings, etc.) to make informed recommendations to the business
  • Design manuals and document data processing procedures
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations; pull EEOC reporting as needed
  • Liaise with IT/Security department regarding platforms, systems, and audits
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities

Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven experience as an HRIS Administrator or similar role (2-4 years desired)
  • Hands-on experience with databases, including the maintenance and auditing of data accuracy and the creation and design of tables, files, and reports
  • Proficiency administering various HR systems, including HRISs and ATSs; experience with Namely, Lever, and/or CultureAmp platforms a plus
  • Familiarity with payroll systems, including pre and post-tax deductions
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and data visualization skills; experience with Tableau and/or Google Sheets a plus
  • Superior communication skills; highly responsive, service-oriented, and reliable
  • Excellent organizational skills and well-honed attention to detail

  • Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities and different personalities
  • Tenacious attitude and willingness to see all work and projects through to completion

  • Knowledge of labor legislation and data protection regulations like GDPR
  • BSc/BA in relevant field, additional HR training a plus
