Learning Management System Manager (LMS Manager)

OVERVIEW:

As a crucial member of our global Talent Enablement team, the LMS Manager will own the vision, planning, development, and operational performance of Percipio and SumTotal, our companywide learning platforms. You will partner closely with technical, operations, and product teams to lead the LMS roadmap and craft innovative solutions to meet business needs, create scalable processes and provide a best-in-class user experience.


OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Leads the integration and migration of our LXP and LMS to create one continuous learner experience.
  • Manages the product development roadmap and manages enhancements, roll outs, new functionality, appearance, tabs, and settings.
  • Manages the daily operation, use, configuration, and governance of our LXP and LMS platforms, Percipio and SumTotal.
  • Manages the development and maintenance of learning taxonomy, assignments, channels in our LXP and LMS platforms.
  • Identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, defects, and suggested enhancements.
  • Maintains procedures and policies to ensure the security, governance, and integrity of systems/networks.
  • Serves as a member of the HRIS committee to ensure talent data protection and batching are functioning properly and according to organizational policy.
  • Collaborates with the Talent Enablement team on training needs and opportunities for the expansion of talent development within the organization.
  • Creates and updates resources to train and support learners on how to use the technology for online and professional development. Writes and maintains technical procedures and policy documentation.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an LMS administrator or in similar position
  • Expertise in LMS functionality, product development, and coding required
  • Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, and system
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and gain new technical skills quickly
  • Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors
  • Customer service skills, responsive attitude
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in non-technical terms
  • A background in technical training and change management preferred. Familiarity with course design and development
  • Coursework and/or certifications relating to learning management system administration preferred
  • Social media or knowledge management experience
  • Working knowledge of multiple web design technologies, such as HTML
  • Experience working with an international constituency
