Our Cambridge, MA office is looking to fill the role of Learning & Development Operations Specialist. This position is a part of the L&D team, which is responsible for the onboarding, new hire training and ongoing learning of HubSpot’s global employees.

Your main objective is to ensure that our technology and operations drive meaningful learning experiences for our global employees. This may include managing the logistics for classroom training, self-paced learning, social learning, employee-generated learning content, and more. With this wide lens, you will be able to see opportunities and recommend ways that we can better optimize our processes to solve for the learner.

In this role, you will own the operations of our learning management system, Learn@HubSpot, which houses all of our self-paced learning content and social learning assets. You will also be responsible for collaborating across People Operations (HR, Recruiting, Culture) to ensure all new HubSpotters globally have an operationally cohesive first day experience.

You will also play a large role in maintaining our content database and gathering data about the success of our initiatives, so it’s important to be able to keep up with changes to the product and company processes.

In this role you will:

  • Manage our LMS by creating learning courses and system pages, building reports and certifications, and maintaining permissions.
  • Consult with other teams in order to implement the best usage of our authoring and learning technologies.
  • Provide LMS training as needed to new users and team members
  • Partner cross-functionally with Culture, Recruiting, HR, IT, and other groups to align the set-up for new hires. This includes preparation of all pre-arrival materials for new hires, coordination of the training calendars for all L&D-run programs, and booking and preparing spaces for sessions.
  • Partner with our trainers to align their efforts and changes to their programs in an effort to enable more cross-function training and reduce duplication of efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and liaise with our software providers to ensure a quick resolution of any issues that may arise.

Our ideal candidate has the following:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a professional environment
  • You are a critical thinker who can adapt what you’ve built to respond to a rapidly changing environment.
  • You love learning new software and finding creative ways to use technology to improve processes.
  • You are extremely organized and exceptionally detail-oriented.
  • You can operate autonomously and have a “get stuff done” mentality.
  • You have a knack for operations and driving efficiency.
  • You have a passion for cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
  • You are a curious individual who genuinely enjoys learning and has a passion for helping others learn, grow and develop.
  • You are able to prioritize your work and pivot as needed based on the needs of new hires and the L&D team in a given day.
  • LMS experience preferred
