Markforged, located in Watertown, MA, is growing at an exponential rate and we’re looking for a highly-motivated and experienced recruiting leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment to help build our team. As a trusted business partner, you will craft the hiring strategy behind attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent. In this role, you will partner with our hiring managers across the organization to understand their needs, create consistent, strategic interview processes, and close high-quality candidates with little direction. You will have the freedom to experiment with new ideas and drive towards building diverse and top-tier teams.

With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, the Leader of Markforged's Talent Acquisition will assess current tools, evaluate interview protocols and build a repeatable process that positions Markforged for hyper-growth. You will:

  • Be responsible for all aspects of recruitment on an international basis across the organization. This includes; scoping roles, posting, sourcing, screening, dispositioning, selection process and offer preparation
  • Act as a thought partner and coach to senior leadership when it comes to all things recruiting and hiring
  • Spearhead the development and execution of recruitment programs (i.e., employment branding, employee referrals, etc.)
  • Tailor recruitment programs for departments (e.g. engineering efforts, sales efforts, etc.)
  • Ensure processes, data, analytics and reporting are tracked for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage KPIs to ensure that the team’s processes and performance are running efficiently and/or improving over time
  • Review current TA processes to identify opportunities and determine plans for streamlining to ensure rigor, thoroughness, and a quality experience
  • Maximize value of current applicant tracking system (Lever)
  • Continuously innovate and look for new and creative ways to attract and select talent

Your experience will include:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of recruiting leadership experience
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in start ups
  • Experience developing and executing fully comprehensive recruitment programs as a central point of contact for Recruiting or Talent Acquisition
  • Possess knowledge and proficiency on all recruiting processes, programs, and tools
  • Proven success in team development
  • Drives consensus through the appropriate use of data
  • Cross-functional leader with proven ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization and leverage networks and is overall a great team player
