HubSpot is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our People Operations team. This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for helping others, great attention to detail, and an interest in growing their career within the HR space.

As a trusted member of the People Operations team, you will provide both a strategic and hands-on expertise that provides Human Resources support. The HR Coordinator is key to ensuring the successful launch of HR initiatives, and is focused on day-to-day HR operations and the employee experience which includes on-boarding, benefits, process improvement, and communications. You will be a main point of contact to help make HubSpot a better place to work for our employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day HR and administrative support while maintaining and helping to develop HR best practices
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure remarkable new hire & ongoing employee experiences
  • Educate & assist employees on HR offerings
  • Manage benefits email in-box and respond timely to inquires
  • Process benefits related enrollments, changes, and terminations in Workday
  • Process & verify background checks and i9’s via HireRight
  • Vendor administration & coordination
  • Assist with open enrollment period
  • Assist with open enrollment fair with external vendors
  • Audit & reconcile monthly benefit invoices and new hire information
  • Create and maintain electronic employee files
  • Assist with other HR related projects, as needed
  • Prepare employee separation documents and administer approvals for unemployment
  • Regularly update internal People Ops Shop wiki pages
  • Support HR Business Partners as needed

Skills & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of post undergraduate experience working in Human Resources
  • Prior knowledge & experience with WorkDay or other HRIS is a huge plus
  • Prior experience in a fast paced company preferred
  • A strong customer service orientation with high attention to detail and follow through
  • Must be able to work with confidential information and must consistently exercise good judgment in dealing with a variety of sensitive situations and issues
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
