Markforged is looking for a Sales Trainer to help us transform our Global Value Added Reseller Channel Sales Ecosystem to become recognized as the industry’s best at selling on customer business outcomes and achieving hyper growth.

Our Sales Trainer will work to amplify our sales process and deliver best-in-class sales skills training with the overarching goal of accelerating new partner sales rep ramp to productivity and increase existing partner sales rep productivity. This person will have autonomy to innovate and will play a pivotal role in setting up our sales teams for continued growth and scale.

What will you own?

  • Run global channel sales skills training initiatives both virtually and in class-rooms.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials for a global channel sales ecosystem
  • Work autonomously as well as part of a growing team
  • Manage and coordinate complex processes and training schedules
  • Build working relationships with Partner Owners and Sales Leaders, Markforged Regional Sales Managers, Directors, and VP Stakeholders
  • Implement multiple avenues of training delivery including in-person, video, web-based, self-guided and virtual programs.
  • Support global channel sales skills development efforts and sales teams through innovative sales initiatives to scale including train the trainer, certifications and other approaches.

What you have:

  • Previous experience in developing and running different types of sales workshops.  
  • Comfort having effective conversations with a variety of leaders across the business
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations with minimal direction
  • Presentation skills, ability and commanding the room to keep attendees engaged is key
  • Previous sales experience is required
  • Personal organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Attention to detail and task oriented
  • Strong business writing & verbal communication skills
  • Experience producing quality content for use across a variety of channels: workshops, slide decks, email, training guides, playbooks, meetings
  • Have a proven track record in sales enablement, particularly in guiding sales teams to hit KPI's
