We are currently seeking an Employee Engagement Specialist to join our HR team here in Boston. This newly created role will work with our Chief People Officer and CEO to ensure we have a compelling rhythm and cadence for how our business strategy is communicated throughout the organization. This role will be critical in helping Fuze’s people and culture story come to life and will also include helping to develop our philanthropy efforts. You will be the main point of contact for all internal communications and workplace events, continually striving to improve and maintain our workplace culture around the globe.

You will work closely with the Executive team and colleagues in other departments, all of whom are all committed to helping all employees understand our company vision, business strategy and culture. It’s all in support of making Fuze a great place to work.

What you will get to do:

  • Develop and deliver internal communications including company-wide town halls, monthly/quarterly updates.
  • Shape the quality of content of our internal intranet pages.
  • Work to ensure Fuze is represented in social media venues including applying for Workplace Award programs.
  • Define and lead our internal event strategy across the globe. Will work closely with defined office “champions” to ensure all employees experience Fuze in as similar a way as possible.
  • Create and sustain a great workplace culture including ensuring our values are awarded, recognized and embedded in our recognition programs.
  • Lead Fuze’s charitable, volunteer, and philanthropic efforts for headquarters, and serve as a conduit and connector for Fuze philanthropy across the globe.
  • Serve as a resource to managers and leaders in helping to create and maintain a fun workplace environment through the use of social events, contests, and other spirited approaches that promote and support the Fuze culture. 

What you will bring to the table:

  • 2+ years of internal communications, events, or HR experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred preferably in communications, business, human resources, event planning.
  • Engaging personality w/ ability to connect quickly with people at all levels and in all locations.
  • Creative mindset w/ passion to innovate and design new programs and events. You should enjoy finding new, engaging, creative and fun ways to deliver work experiences.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once with attention to detail and strong follow up skills.
  • Demonstrated research skills for event planning and programs management
  • Sense of humor
  • Previous collegiate leadership experience whether serving as a leader of a sports team, sorority/fraternity, club, or other endeavor that demonstrates strong planning and influencing skills preferred. You could also demonstrate this via a previous role in a corporate or non-profit setting
