Job Description
Reporting to the CHRO, the Director, Global Diversity Equity & Inclusion will create and implement DE&I programs across all global sites of Client. This work will focus on all areas of the employee lifecycle, including hiring and building a culture of true equity and inclusion. As the initial Head of DEI for Client, the work will include assessing the current state, recommendations for future programs and practices, and strategies to plan for future-state as Client continues to grow and scale globally. This Leader will work collaboratively across all areas of the organization to educate, engage and create momentum to deliver against company-wide objectives. This role will serve as a senior-level change-agent, leading the creation of meaningful strategies and innovative programs.
Qualifications
- Develop, drive and deliver DE&I programs across the global enterprise; develop tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate impact and ROI of programs.
- Create on-going evaluation approaches on program effectiveness and make recommendations for program enhancement and improvement.
- Over time, build a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team, executing programs, partnerships and events.
- Lead and enable company-sponsored Employee Resource Groups to ensure alignment with overall, business objectives, and DE&I strategy.
- Provide expertise to help the company and specific teams build inclusive and respectful cultures, leveraging the diversity in their teams to ensure creativity, innovation, productivity, excellent customer service and highly satisfactory work environments.
- Provide strategic council and partnership with key business partners across the organization including the ELT and business leaders.
- Partner with the HR organization, including talent acquisition and talent management colleagues, to design, develop and integrate key DE&I solutions into HR recruitment and development processes, in order to attract, develop and retain the best talent.
- Manage and inform on DE&I communications together with senior leaders, partnering closely with the corporate communications team.
- Develop and maintain organizational metrics, provide appropriate updates on progress, recommend actions to support achievement of goals, and assess overall effectiveness of DEI initiatives.
Qualifications
- BS / BA (preferably in HR, Business, or a related field) or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years' experience implementing diversity and inclusion programs in global complex, high growth fast-paced organizations.
- Experience developing strategies and executing initiatives that drive measurable results within the context of the organization's talent and business strategy.
- Strong global mindset, understanding of various global cultures, and knowledge of global diversity.
- Inspirational style that will challenge/inspire colleagues/partners to achieve business results; clear understanding of business operations and DE&I priorities, and able to articulate them to audiences within and outside the organization.
- Advanced relationship-management experience and consulting skills, with a superior ability to influence, lead, engage and build consensus across various levels of leaders through collaboration and influence.
- Evidence of developing and implementing industry-leading best practices.
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
