Job Description

We’re seeking an Associate Director within our Talent Management group to help shape our road map to scale our operations in efficiency, organizational design, global orientation programs, onboarding, benefits and employee relations. We are looking for an exceptional individual to join and develop the members of the team in an effective but creative way. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent, the Associate Director will provide leadership, mentorship and general execution to our team of highly-skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will provide support across the company on a variety of HR­-related matters including, but not limited to: team mentoring, immigration and ex-pat assignments, HR guidelines & processes, recognition and engagement programs, performance management, global orientation and onboarding and conflict resolution in a way that meets the needs and is consistent with the entrepreneurial approach of our business.

In addition, you will:

  • Collaborate across peer groups, ­specifically individuals leading Recruiting and Learning and Development to optimize the acquisition, integration and development of our talent and achieve company goals.
  • Manage a team focusing in the areas of benefits, global orientation, employee onboarding at all levels, and employee relations driving improvement and efficiency in our processes and policies across the board.
  • Own and launch company-­wide engagement initiatives and programs.
  • Partner with the team in the field as we expand domestically and internationally.
  • Innovate as we think through benefit plans and wellness programs, thinking about how we better manage benefit costs and reduce claims.
  • Streamline our approach to handling employee relations issues across the organization; act as a resource and sounding board for managers dealing with employee relations challenges, and leave requests under the FMLA and ADA.
  • Partner with our Facilities team to ensure employee satisfaction with all aspects of our work space

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 7 years of Human Resources experience in a lean, fast­-paced work environment; experience in a large, international and high­-growth technology company preferred.  
  • Track record of defining and leading a high-­impact talent function within a global, evolving organization.
  • Conceptual understanding of employment laws and policies, particularly in the US.
  • A consultative and solution-oriented approach and a strong understanding of how to enable an organization to succeed through talent.
  • High degree of business acumen, analytical capability and an ability to adapt to continuous change.
  • BA/BS degree, Master’s degree considered a plus.
