As the Global Travel Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring a remarkable experience for our newly hired international employees traveling to and from our headquarters in Cambridge. It’s imperative that you are a team player, detail-oriented, and a multi-tasker, and can be creative while anticipating the unexpected. You will get excited about making this position your own while also being comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders on making the travel experience seamless and organized. As the primary point of contact for our international newly hired employees your responsibilities are:

  • Coordinating travel arrangements for newly hired international employees including:
    • Providing pre-travel guidance
    • Booking flights & hotel accomodations
    • Providing local information
    • Working closely with our Global Mobility expert to align work permits with travel
  • Providing a high-touch, concierge experience for new employees
  • Building and maintaining relationships with 3rd party travel companies
  • Managing our relocation program so that employees have a remarkable experience when moving their belongings and families
  • Maintaining frequent communication with employees throughout the whole experience
  • Collaborating with various internal stakeholders across offices: Global Mobility, Learning and Development, Legal, Culture, Managements, and HR teams
  • Assistance and coverage at the reception desk

Requirements:

  • Proven organizational skills either through work experience or internships
  • Unparalleled commitment and attention to detail, willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a seamless experience for employees
  • Experience managing 3rd party vendors
  • Negotiation experience a plus
  • Direct travel coordination experience a plus
  • College degree recommended
