ABOUT THE ROLE 


Teikametrics is looking for a Director of FP&A to join our growing Finance team. As a part of the team, you’ll work closely with top talent in the tech industry and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization. You’ll be contributing to the exciting growth and scale of Teikametrics, with a unique opportunity to design, implement, and sustain the core FP&A business processes. This is a highly visible and impactful role with direct access to senior leadership.


The Director of FP&A will report directly to the CFO and serve as a key thought leader for the Finance team, owning all areas of the budgeting & reporting process, and touching all corners of Finance & Accounting. You will be a foundational piece of the team that supports the rapid growth of the Company, both organically and through acquisition. This will require someone who is “hands-on” and into the details, but with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable takeaways for big picture guidance. In addition to assisting with financial reporting, monthly/quarterly performance metrics, and annual planning cycles, you will lead the creation and reconfiguration of systems, policies, and procedures that scale with the company’s growth.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:


Lead the FP&A function by owning and enhancing the financial management infrastructure, through improved forecasting, ad hoc reporting & analyses, annual budget planning, and monthly close workstreams.

Develop sustainable and scalable processes for ongoing financial reporting and review.

Create new reports and dashboards to highlight trends and variances in key areas, build and maintain reporting cadence to business units and budget owners.

Analyze and report on historical and projected monthly/quarterly/annual performance trends.

Drafts performance narratives for management and leadership team.

Deliver key reporting improvements designed to inform accurate cash forecasting & networking capital opportunities in collaboration with the Accounting team, implement a system of controls over accounting transactions and financial reporting that allows the company to scale and minimize risk.

Consistently seek opportunities for efficiencies and scale to support future acquisitions and revenue profiles.

Proactively address and solve pain points for key executive stakeholders through recurring touchpoints and strategic partnerships.

Serve as a key stakeholder in the completion of annual GAAP audits, with significant contributions on order-to-cash workstreams, revenue/deferred revenue reporting, and other forward-looking guidance.


WHAT YOU NEED

  • 7+ years of FP&A experience with a rapidly growing Venture-Backed or Private Equity backed company, preferably in a recurring revenue model.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both at the executive level and with peers and cross-functional teams. Can clearly articulate ideas, frame problems, and offer solutions.
  • A self-starter, with a strong ability to operate and excel at strategic as well as tactical levels. Willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done.
  • Advanced skills with G-Suite/Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Slides)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required. MSA or MBA preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of key SaaS metrics, unit economics, and leading indicators used to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Nice to have: Experience with implementation and management of Accounting and Finance systems, specifically NetSuite, Zuora, and Adaptive Insights.
