We, at Flywire, are looking for a Reconciliation Accountant to assist the team with daily reconciliation duties. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, a team player, and understand the value of strong financial controls working for a global business that is growing and changing at a fast pace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily reconciliations across multiple partners and currencies
• Work collaboratively with other teams to resolve queries
• Provide accurate accounting records and adjustments in a timely manner
• Manage the team across multiple locations
• Lead new projects to implement system and process improvements
• Weekly KPI Reporting
• Ensure FCA safeguarding requirements are met
• Liaise across all levels of the organisation

Our Ideal Candidate Is/Has:

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent required
• Qualified ACCA / CIMA Accountant (exceptional candidates that are part-qualified or qualified by experience will also be considered)
• Experience in complex reconciliations, ideally within the regulated sector
• Previous payments experience (multi-currency and foreign exchange) is a plus
• Strong systems and computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Dynamics
• Experience managing a team
• Previous experience owning change projects and process improvements
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Hands-on and execution-focused
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment
• Strong knowledge of financial controls
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English is required, as it’s our company’s working language; fluency in Spanish is advantageous
• Willingness to travel
