The Opportunity
We are looking for a Procurement Operations Consultant who can leverage their skills and experience to help our Procurement Operations Team by providing support and guidelines for but not limited to:
Training
Policy/Control
Process
Standard Operating Procedures
Interfacing with Audit
Quality metric compliance

Currently the MassMutual Procurement team is going through a transformation to become best in class for contract lifecycle management and Source to Pay processes. The Impact
Your Role as a Procurement Operations Consultant would include but not be limited to:
Assisting your Procurement peers by being a confident and trusted partner that demonstrates ownership, commitment, and follow-through in achieving results
Being a strong communicator who can provide weekly/monthly updates on key initiatives and be able to maintain clear team commitments and provide awareness to management
Being part of a team to develop and manage processes to globally support Sourcing, Reporting, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Contracting activities
Work directly with Category Management teams and Relationship Management teams to drive key performance indications, service level agreements and continuous process improvement initiatives
Help develop Procurement performance metrics; manage performance tracking and reporting
Owning the creation and implementation of the end-to-end data quality framework and governance model with the Contracts and Compliance Team and Purchasing Manager
Working with the reporting team to support by extracting data from various procurement platforms on the regular basis, consolidate, analyze data, and generate dashboard reports in a consistent format
The Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related major and/or a minimum of 1 year direct procurement working experience required
Understanding of Procurement processes
Excellent presentation skills with working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook & Teams
Ability to learn about all Procurement roles, process, and interconnections to help solve for daily activity and issues
Ideal Qualifications:
Demonstrated initiative, good judgment and accountability
Well-developed communication skills
Previous project management experience
Lean experience
Familiarity with reporting tools like Tableau & MicroStrategy
Understanding contracting and procurement legal documents
Experience with Ariba and iCertis
Full knowledge of S2P processes
Ability to work with IT seamlessly to accomplish daily tasks and issues
