Financial Systems Admin

Reporting to the Director of Financial Systems, this position will administer and manage the financial systems across the organization, with a focus on best practices, controls, and SOX compliance. The Financial Systems team is focussed on building and supporting best of breed financial systems to ensure scalability with the rapidly growing business.
This is a unique time to join Toast as we invest in getting to our next stage of growth in supporting many customer segments, product lines and markets. This role requires collaboration with business owners and stakeholders, with a focus on administration and support utilizing technologies available across complex platforms. The scope of systems and processes will initially be focused on Commissions (Xactly), AP (Tipalti, Teampay, TripActions), and Finance (Avalara, FloQast).
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Perform administrative functions including adding/removing users, supporting system upgrades, and working diligently with third party vendors to ensure high system availability.
- Hands-on analysis and debugging of system errors and issues, including recommendation of solutions.
- Collaborate with external support of SaaS systems and internal business users for issue resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with products and modules through training and engagements with third parties and system providers.
- Coordinate with the internal data team to implement data changes, review any issues that arise from data errors.
- Work with business partners to drive technology, business, and Financial Systems best practices
- Manage monthly/quarterly certifications for SOX compliance and ensure controls are being followed for compliance.
Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)
- 3+ years experience with financial system administration (AP, Commissions, Finance), plus a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience managing end user issues via ticket requests, and providing resolutions
- Ability to have detailed conversations with business users to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
- Experience with system implementations and working with third-party providers.
- Strong customer-focus and business acumen, while focusing on communications and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience with change management by building, testing, and deploying changes across multiple environments.

- Familiarity with Sales and Finance processes
- Prior experience with NetSuite
