Job Description
As a CM&T Payments Associate, you will handle the processing of payment transactions for Flywire. The goal of this team is to make sure all payments arrive to the designated client in a timely and accurate manner, while operating in the most effective and efficient way.This requires someone with a high level of attention to detail and understanding of the importance of strong financial controls and safeguarding funds. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to Flywire’s payment workflow. In this role, you must be a team player with a hands-on approach as you will be working and collaborating within a larger global team. We are looking for someone who has a positive, can-do attitude along with strong communication and motivation skills to do whatever it takes to achieve the team’s goals!
Key Responsibilities
Ensure day to day tasks are consistently fulfilled
Match incoming payments to customer requests
Perform foreign exchange conversions of customer funds
Process disbursements to our clients located in the region
Daily reconciliation of funds
Maintain and balance internal accounts
Resolve payment related issues with our banking partners
Support and collaborate with other teams to solve queries
Improve processes and efficiency
Prepare reports for lead
Train and teammates as the department grows.
Qualifications
FlyMate Skills and Qualifications
Undergraduate Degree along with an interest in financial services or operations
Proficiency in Excel and other online tools (Google Apps, etc.)
Proficiency in Spanish is preferred
Excellent analytical and computer skills
Highly effective communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to enhance and improve processes
Passion for problem solving and helping customers
Possess a willingness and eagerness to learn
