Function of the role:

We are looking for our first US Cash Collection Manager to join our team based in our Boston office.

 

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide support to finance team during month end.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient running of cash collection process.
  • Produce various monthly reports.
  • Produce regular process reports for the Head of Finance explaining debt older than 90 days.
  • Liaising with a large portfolio of clients on a daily basis.
  • Reviewing collection processes to improve operational efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of function.
  • Reducing DSO month on month.
  • Notifying Head of Finance promptly when encountering accounts at risk.
  • Minimizing bad debts and write offs.
  • Taking ownership of end to end collection activity and performance.

 

Desired experience and skills:

  • 5+ years’ of collections experience preferred
  • Aged Debt Reporting and Analysis experience
  • Knowledge of customer contractual agreements
  • Excel skills required
  • Good negotiation and influencing skills
  • Demonstrate a positive and solution driven mind-set
  • Confident, with a proven ability to challenge appropriately at all levels
