As a Business Operations Consultant, you'll join the Fund Operations Team that handles investment operations. This is a chance to join a dynamic team of professions who focus on Fund Performance, Audit and Controls, Ledger, Revenue, and more! You'll execute agreements and amendments to existing agreements in support of the Life and Annuities products including negotiation and coordination with fund companies. This will include the following responsibilities:

  • Revenue Collection and reconciliation for MassMutual Separate accounts and Investment only
  • Revenue negotiations for new funds or amendments
  • Monitor MassMutual separate account revenue payments and instruct on cash movement
  • Facilitate the Investment Only revenue payment process including quarterly Board Reporting and preparation of fee data for the Fund Board of Directors
  • Process any Investment Only (IO) revenue as needed on a monthly/quarterly basis
  • Calculate and provide performance related information various MM Funds
  • Provide all MM Fund and SVIO related support including monthly and quarterly reporting, fulfillment and surveys
  • Assist on ad-hoc projects focused on process improvement, including technology or process related efficiencies, or revenue replated input for new product development

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of investment operations experience
  • 1 year of exposure to mutual funds
  • Expertise in Excel (VLookup's, Pivot Tables, Basic Logic) for data manipulation
  • Demonstrated success in a process driven, fast-paced environment
  • H.S. Diploma

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

It was another way to support your colleagues and celebrate their wins and to know where they might be having challenges,” she said. “It was also a catalyst for equity.”
