The Accounting Manager will build and lead a high performing close team capable of supporting a rapidly growing business. You have extensive experience with the close process, audit and building scalable policies and processes. You will be a true partner to the organization always approaching work with a lens of adding value to the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hire, train and retain a high performing close team
  • Manage all aspects of general ledger accounting including month-end close, close package and related analysis and reports
  • Develop a close improvement plan and checklist that delivers a high quality close over a shorter period of time
  • Maintain accounting policies for coding expenses, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, reserves, stock based compensation, etc.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes that are well controlled
  • Provide business decision support in the form of reporting and analysis as needed
  • Active member and contributor to the ERP systems team
  • Will roll-up your sleeves to help with monthly closes and analysis 
  • You will develop strong relationships with business partners as we actualize and understand financial results
  • Lead the annual audit working with our external auditors 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have 7+ years of work experience and have extensive experience managing the close process
  • You have an active CPA, and have 5+ years of big four accounting experience
  • Bachelor degree required with a major in Accounting
  • You have excellent technical accounting and documentation skills
  • You possess strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and develop others. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality work within tight timeframes while simultaneously managing several projects
  • You have meticulous attention to detail, and strong organization and time management skills
  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • You excel in a fast moving environment

I love conceptualizing an idea in my head and then bringing it to life via photos, design, and words.
