We are currently searching for an energetic and innovative Systems Administrator to work on our System Operations team supporting and scaling HubSpot’s employee servicing servers and 3rd party application infrastructure. We’re a small team of technology driven individuals with a curiosity for how things work and a passion for designing and building reliable, scalable, and efficient systems. We’re always striving to learn more, expand our skills and grow our teammates.

We’re looking for an individual with a broad based technical foundation to grow from and to administer and help build the systems to meet new challenges facing a rapidly growing global company. As a Systems Administrator you will assist in installation, maintenance, and operational activities of the company’s internal infrastructure.

Preferred Experience or familiarity as follows:

• 3 years experience OS administration (Linux or Windows)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Solid understanding of servers, application infrastructure, and networking concepts.
  

Responsibilities include:

• Acting as a technical lead on select project implementations.
• Operational ownership of various application and infrastructure systems.
• Learning new technologies and sharing knowledge with teammates.
• Communicate regularly with other project stakeholders regarding project activities including planning, progress, issues and problem resolution.

Primary technologies used our environment:

• Windows, Mac, VMware, and Linux operating systems
• AWS services
• 3rd Party SaaS integrations/APIs (e.g. GSuite, Okta, Duo, etc).
• 3rd Party Software (e.g. Atlassian Confluence, JIRA, Active Directory)
• Server automation (Ansible)
• Server and application monitoring
