About the Role:

Abacus is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Engineer to join a product delivery team focused on building platform functionality to support secure API(s).  In this role you will have the opportunity to author greenfield components from the ground up leveraging AWS PaaS services, contribute to overall system design, and work cross functionally with partners in UX, DevOps, SRE, and Quality.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience building AWS PaaS enabled applications
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS PaaS offerings such as API Gateway, Athena, RDS, and (A/E)LB network services
• Demonstrated ability to design and build API(s) that leverage both an interaction and data payload protocol
• Experience partnering with other functional team members to define quality acceptance, deployment automation, and observability requirements for your deliverables

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with network security integrations for API security would be great
• Previous experience with FHIR protocol would be outstanding
