There's going to come a day when you need to get something notarized. When that day comes, wouldn't you rather do it from your kitchen? In the same time it takes to make a sandwich?

Notarize is the first on-demand notary platform, allowing anyone to notarize a document online and empowering businesses to send, track and collect notarizations. We're helping people execute the most important transactions of their lives and streamlining operations for countless industries.

As a Technical Consultant at Notarize, you will work with prospects, customers and partners on developing and maintaining technical integrations with our software. This will range from one off API questions to long term integration projects. You will also partner with the development team to help guide the direction of our APIs and our core product based on feedback from customers.

A typical day could include a morning call with the sales team to prepare for a technical sales call tomorrow. After that, you respond to emails from two customers who are developing API integrations. After lunch, writing up a few help documents that you identified our customers need after a few calls around the same question. Then you join a Customer Success Manager on an onboarding call with a customer who is thinking about integrating their CRM with our APIs.

As our Technical Consultant, you will:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactive engagement with currently integrated customers regarding enhancements/ongoing support
  • Enhance customer API onboarding to allow for seamless touchless integrations.
  • Actively support new updates with integrated customers.
  • Maintaining our developer documentation around the API.
  • Working with the sales team on calls and over email to provide clear answers and solutions to potential technical roadblocks prospects may have.
  • Partnering with the Customer Success team to assist customers design and execute integrations with our software.
  • Providing customer feedback and ideas to the product team on how to make our APIs more impactful and easier for our customers to use
  • Collaborate with internal product teams on new features that will aid customer adoption, advocating for the needs of our clients
  • Developing and maintaining API collateral for marketing purposes
  • Perform monthly audits of integrated customers to establish the health of the customer

What you’ll bring as our Technical Consultant:

  • Prior experience in a customer service or onboarding role (SaaS experience a plus)
  • Ability to translate seamlessly conversations between product and customer and vice versa
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to work with APIs, and software integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Ability to clearly explain complicated ideas, plans.
  • Front end coding experience (Javascript, PHP, Python, HTML, CSS)
  • Experience thinking creatively to develop time and money saving solutions
  • Strong ability to self start and remain self directed and prioritized
