We integrate with APIs including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Zillow as well as process millions of institutional records. What you’ll do

• Collaborate with the team to build high-quality, scalable Java APIs that follow best practice
• Design, scale and improve our microservices infrastructure to make it simple and efficient to maintai
• Help build large projects and work with lead engineers and product managers to help plan, prioritize and develop wor
• Promote quality through regular code reviews and by writing tests to validate work and prevent regression
• Help diagnose and resolve technical issues

• ElasticSearch, Spark, Storm, MySQL, Kafka, Memcached, Redis and Cassandra

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in software development or equivalent experience 
• Have experience with Java and MySQL
• Understand modern API design patterns and best practices
• Experience with modeling data
• Have knowledge of Java frameworks like Dropwizard, Spring or Spring Boot
• Be familiar with the some of the concepts in Redis, Spark, Cassandra, Kafka and Storm
• Be familiar with AWS or similar cloud services
• Have a positive and respectful attitude with the desire to work in a rapid-growth, entrepreneurial environment

Salary Range: $100-120k+ plus equity
