Software Engineer In Test, SEIT
We have multiple opportunities for mid to senior level Automation professionals. As a member of the Quality Assurance organization, the Software Engineer in Test Automation will be a key contributor to implementing and executing test automation and performing API level testing across PrismHR’s portfolio of hosted and mobile products. You must be comfortable implementing/executing automated tests for cross-browser compatibility.
AS a Software Engineer in Test, you will participate within an Agile software project development team, and should be acclimated to developing, testing and delivering within a “rapid release cycle.”
SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with SQA team leadership, peer SQA engineers, and developers to create and execute against functional test automation requirements for our multi-tiered, web-based software and mobile applications
Contribute to the growth/improvement of test automation frameworks
Work with team to design and maintain a fully automated testing process across CI/CD pipelines for SaaS applications built on microservices architecture using AWS infrastructure.
Work effectively with Development, Product Management, and Infrastructure Engineering
Requires communication and coordination with both local and geographically dispersed resources
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
Must Have:
2-5 years software quality assurance experience, with exposure to the full product development cycle – from requirements through post-release
Experience with API-level test automation, Selenium, Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Bamboo
Strong experience with web technologies (React/Angular, HTML, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS)
Experience in version control tools like GitHub/Bitbucket
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing as well as knowledge in the following types of tests:
Regression
Integration
End to End
Smoke
Performance
User Acceptance Testing
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Nice to Have:
Proficiency with complex PostgreSQL Queries
Well versed with concepts of Performance and Load Testing (Hands on experience in any Tool like Neoload, JMeter is desirable)
Exposure working in an Agile development environment with an understanding of Scrum Methodology, BDD, TDD
Exposure to any cloud-based Browser Testing solution like Saucelabs, Perfecto or Browser Stack
