Position Title: Software Engineer, Technical Lead

Duties: Develop UI and associated software workflows simultaneously on desktop 3D printer control software and 3D printer embedded systems. Create and develop a C++ based software architecture across all hardware platforms, including 3D printer accessories. Work with designers and product managers to plan and execute new user interactions on 3D printers, accessories, and desktop software. Develop workflows and interactions for preparing CAD models for 3D printing, interacting with 3D printer touch UIs, printer accessory touch UIs, and maintenance workflows on hardware. Supervise a team of software engineers and interns, set schedules, and provide mentoring as a technical leader. Participate in hiring of new engineers and managers. This position manages and supervises two (2) Interns that are responsible for completing UI and workflow software development tasks in C++.  Telecommuting permitted. 

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science and five (5) years of experience. Will accept a three (3) year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or the foreign equivalent, in lieu of a four (4) year degree. Requires: 

• Five (5) years of work experience in C++ software engineering with a focus on UI design and workflows
• Three (3) years of experience working with C++14 or newer
• Three (3) years of experience working with multi-platform UI development using Qt/QML
• Two (2) years of experience working with computer graphics and user interface design
