POSITION: Software Engineer II

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Position will use the latest Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technologies to develop new and improve existing CRM programs and tools; touch code at every level - from the User Interface, to the servlets and backend services, down to the database. Position will be responsible for core architectural changes and initiatives; code quality on the CRM team as well as driving the validation process and the test-driven development; develop user-facing products at every level using Java, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript on a Linux platform; work with core engineering, marketing, and content teams to lead continuing initiatives to maintain high content quality.

REQUIREMENTS: The position requires a Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered, or in a related position. Experience must include the following: two (2) years of experience with large scale, full life cycle development; Demonstrable knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OO design; Demonstrable programming experience: Web services technologies including REST and SOAP; Demonstrable experience with Object Oriented languages such as Java or PHP; Demonstrable experience with Object -Oriented architecture; Demonstrable experience with test-driven development; Demonstrable experience participating on cross-functional engineering teams; Demonstrable experience integrating systems using APIs; Demonstrable experience with HTML, CSS, SQL and Javascript; demonstrable experience using Linux, Java, JavaScript and related open source technologies such as Apache, Jetty, and MYSQL.
