POSITION: Software Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Responsible for all aspects of software engineering, from design to implementation, QA and maintenance. Develop, deploy and maintain the consumer-facing features of the TripAdvisor native iOS and Android App. Design and implement RESTful services using Java to support the native app feature development. Design complex systems and lead the technical solution of projects. Work closely with our product and design teams to define feature specifications.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; and 2 years of post-baccalaureate work experience including the following: Data Structures and Algorithms as acquired in a CS program; Object-oriented design patterns and programming; iOS application development with Objective C; Android application development with Java; Familiarity with iOS and Android design principles, patterns, and best practices; Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON; Experience shipping mobile products at scale; and Linux.
