Devo is a privately held, hyper-growth SaaS company, and we are looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer who is passionate about cybersecurity, building strong connections with our sellers, and making a positive impact on enterprises and the community.

We are looking for a highly-motivated, proactive, and innovative person who thrives when working in a cross functional environment. You will work directly with sellers, partners, product management, customer success, and the marketing team at large to make an impact on the business. As part of the technical marketing team, you will play a key role in shaping the message around Devo’s value to our customers and unique place in the market. A positive, ambitious, tenacious, and can-do attitude is a must, while also being able to have fun while disrupting the cybersecurity market.
Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with sales & SEs to understand & meet the needs of Devo sellers
  • Engage directly with partner sellers & SEs to understand & meet the needs of our partners
  • Work cross functionally with our product marketing and product management teams to evangelize the value of Devo’s products
  • Create demo videos to show the value of Devo products for specific use cases 
  • Collaborate on e-books, Powerpoint presentations, social media copy, and other assets for both internal and external audiences
  • Source, create, manage, and market our customer success stories, case studies, testimonials, and other public related content 
  • Create enablement materials for new Devo sellers and partners
  • Work with the marketing team to leverage the voice of the customer that tells a compelling Devo story and increases Devo brand awareness 
  • Assist in presenting the Devo message at events - both virtual and in person.
  • Assist with any related work to drive revenue growth with customers.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work well cross-functionally and influence without authority
  • Excellent written and oral skills; ability to present yourself professionally, represent Devo well, while still being personable and approachable
  • Ability to do product demos & new feature demos to customers and partners
  • Strong content creation skills with MS Office and Adobe. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with co-workers inside and outside of the marketing team
  • Experience as an SE or TAM in cybersecurity a plus
  • Self-starter - able to determine own path to success rather than needing extensive direction
  • Willingness to try something new, think big, and advocate for their ideas 
  • Able to take ownership of projects, realizing high-quality outcomes
  • Ability to persist and find work-arounds in spite of occasional setbacks and challenges 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to be a trailblazer → You thrive and work hard to stand out in a fast-growing, ever-changing environment 
  • High energy and infectious positive attitude 
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and understand how your role alone has the potential to make an impact on the business

Experience and Education:

  • 3-5 years experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or sales role in the enterprise B2B software industry; security space preferred 
  • BA/BS degree
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong engagement with customers
  • Demonstrated aptitude to learn and understand software solutions in the B2B space 
  • Advanced user of Office Suite, G Suite; experience with Adobe a plus
