Senior Information Security Engineer
As a Senior Information Security Engineer at Bullhorn, you will be a technical leader on the Information Security team. You will work cross-functionally to implement and mature security tools, advise on best practices, and promote security initiatives. A successful candidate for this position will have excellent communication skills, a background in systems engineering or DevOps, and a strong technical understanding of security.

This role will work closely with other teams at Bullhorn including Architecture, DevOps, and Systems Engineering to secure our infrastructure and systems.
As an Senior Information Security Engineer, a typical day might include:
Expanding our SIEM coverage to include more infrastructure and log sources
Maturing our Software Defined Perimeter technology to better protect remote access
Working with Architecture to design a secure cloud infrastructure for new cloud projects
Working with Systems Engineering to mature security processes within our datacenter and cloud environments
Managing security tools including threat intelligence platforms, SIEM, and incident response tools
This job might be for you if you have:
3+ years of security experience in a highly technical role
Prior experience as a systems engineer or DevOps engineer, preferably in a Linux environment
Hands-on SIEM architecture experience
Experience with one or more of the following: software defined perimeter, next-gen firewalls, AWS security, incident response
Ability to learn new technologies and apply security to unfamiliar environments
Desire to mentor junior security engineers
Bonus points for:
Experience securing Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technology
Knowledge or operations and/or security in public clouds
OSCP, GWAPT, GPEN, GXPN, CEH or other security certifications
