This position includes participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation, requiring an elevated level of personal commitment.

Desired Skills:

  • 5+ years managing systems and services in a Linux environment including LAMP, ELK, nginx, java, or mongo.
  • 2+ years working with full stack applications in an AWS environment (IAM, ELB, EC2, RDS, EIPs, AMIs, snapshots, etc.).
  • Puppet expertise preferred; similar tool experience acceptable; Git[hub] a must.
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking and/or AWS Certified Solution Architect or experience-equivalent as this position will be instrumental in migrating from Classic to VPC
  • Experience with the following are plusses: DataDog, logmatic.io, logentries, ELK/rsyslog, monit, codeship/CodeDeploy, Artifactory, Jira/Confluence, SIRT, open-resty, Terraform/CloudFormation, rabbitmq, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, Beanstalk, Cassandra, Hadoop, Aurora, redis/Elasticache, CloudHealth, PagerDuty, cert and domain registration management.
  • Excellent working relationship with developers and support staff.
