Due to tremendous growth, SimpliSafe is looking for a Senior Backend Web Developer. We are a technology start-up growing in the heart of Boston, but with a national (soon to be international) footprint. We design, manufacture, and sell a line of wireless home security systems. Our technology and service platform is giving millions of Americans the ability to protect their homes and families without the hassles, contracts and fees charged by traditional home security. As a Senior PHP Backend Web Developer you will design, implement and maintain the systems/AP that drive our:

• Online shopping experience
• CRM
• Fulfillment and Shipping
• 3rd Party Integrations (like Works with Nest)
• iOS and Android Apps

About You

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement server-side web applications
• Strong knowledge of SQL 
• Comfortable writing raw Javascript or using various frameworks
• A team player, but also comfortable working independently
• Familiar with agile concepts
• Comfortable with the command line wherever it resides
• Love building new things, but realize that maintenance is half the battle
• Extra points for: PHP, Drupal, Node.js, Mongo, AWS, DevOps experience
