POSITION:
We are looking for an analytical and intellectually curious Salesforce Solutions Lead to serve as the technical leader and solution architect for PI’s Quote-to-Cash systems (Salesforce CPQ, AdobeSign, Avalara, NetSuite). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing deceptively simple solutions and a deep understanding of CPQ, SaaS, and subscription management processes. In this role you will collaborate with a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Technical architect and Developers to deliver and maintain a frictionless quote-to-cash experience for internal and external users. The Solutions Lead will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of Salesforce Administrators.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Design, implement, and lead maintenance of elegant, scalable, and sustainable solutions on the Force.com platform across Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud and Customer / Partner Communities with best practices in mind.
- Serve as a key subject matter expert and escalation point for complex and/or critical business issues and processes with particular emphasis on CPQ and related applications.
- Seek out ways to leverage the Salesforce platform and CPQ application to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support the rapid scaling of our high-growth organization.
- Configure, implement, and update managed packages, sharing, and complex Salesforce automation (flows, process builders, workflow rules) to support the scalability of our quote-to-cash systems.
- Provide consultative guidance to internal stakeholders related to Salesforce CPQ capabilities to support price and packaging strategy testing and iteration.
- Create/update system documentation including configuration changes, data mapping requirements, functional designs, test cases and deployment plans.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement business requirements, process flows, configuration and testing.
- Identify and leverage new trends and features in Salesforce and associated technologies to maximize the potential of the Salesforce.com platform.
- Work in an agile and dynamic environment to facilitate timely responses to changing project requirements and company objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and support a culture of learning and cross-team collaboration across all Business Applications teams.

- Extensive hands-on experience designing CPQ workflows and processes (product packaging, discounting, approvals, etc.) that are tightly integrated with systems like Salesforce and NetSuite.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to build and interpret logical rules, data tables, and complex relationships.
- Proven track record of learning new technical systems and tools from scratch, and then becoming a subject matter expert in those areas.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (required), Salesforce Advanced Administrator and CPQ Specialist certifications strongly preferred
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including scrum and continuous integration environments (Copado, Github, etc).
