Salesforce Software Engineer 2 (remote virtual home office eligible)
Description
The Software Engineer 2 codes software applications based on business requirements. The Software Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. CRM service uses Salesforce as the platform, you will be required to develop using Apex.
Responsibilities
The Software Engineer 2 standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Duties to include but not limited to:
•Identify and Design solutions to meet business needs
•Implement tool changes within the Salesforce stack
•Ensures requirements are met by the developed solution
•Implement solution changes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in systems analysis or application programming development
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Database experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, or DB2
- Development experience using CSS and XSLT
- Experience with SOAP/WSDL and REST APIs
- Experience with Eclipse and TFS
- Experience with javascript
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning Process Builder
- Salesforce.com Certifications
- Salesforce.com Certified Developer
- Salesforce.com Certified Administrator
- Salesforce.com Certified Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce.com Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce.com Certified Service Cloud Consultant
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com Service Cloud, .Net and mainframe development
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry
